  • Overview

    Create batch invoices for customers on designated schedules. Enter invoices into customer portals as required.  

    Responsibilities

    1. Submit invoices on scheduled days within customer portals or via email.
    2. Manipulate reports within Excel to meet customer demands.
    3. Learn customer invoicing requirements.
    4. Escalate items to Accounts Receivable as necessary.
    5. Post credits transaction in the accounting system.

    Qualifications

    1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    2. Proficiency within Excel
    3. Minimum of one year previous accounting experience preferred.
    4. Basic understanding of accounting strongly preferred.
    5. Outstanding customer service skills required.
    6. Ability to operate general office equipment such as computer, ten-key, copier, fax machine, scanner, projector, and multi-line telephone system.
    7. Must possess excellent time management skills and be adaptable to change.
    8. Ability to apply basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    9. Ability to communicate verbally in one-on-one situations with management and co-workers; listen to others without interrupting and get clarification when needed.
    10. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
    11. Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.
    12. Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted.
    13. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.
